The first episode of Turiya Talks, season 5 had Mr. Rahul Dey, an YouTuber from West Bengal as our guest. The show was hosted by Sandhya Sutodia the co-founder of Turiya Communications. The topic of the evening was 'Journey of a Bengali YouTuber.
Rahul as an YouTuber talked about the very basics of being an YouTuber which are being creative and innovative at the same time, because you always need something new in your content for making it interesting to the audience.
He was among the first of the Bengali YouTubers; he said he chose the language because it is the language he finds most comfortable to speak, and he gained confidence from the success of other Bengali YouTubers like The Bong Guy among others.
He thinks it is important to put social messages in the videos which will benefit the viewers or the audience. The social messages must be wrapped with entertainment materials like comedy and roasts. He suggested to the aspiring YouTubers to be passionate about their work for achieving success and popularity.
