Dr. Kashi Prasad Jayaswal, historian, archaelogist and freedom fighter, was born in Mirzapur in 1881. He was devoted to historical research. He is known for his first article on “Hindu polity” which was published in the ‘Modern Review’ in the year 1913. His famous works also included “An Imperial History of India”, “A Chronology and History of Nepal” and “Andhkar Yugin Bharat”.
