UCO Bank celebrates its 77th Foundation Day

UCO Bank organised various activities to celebrate its 77th Foundation Day on January 6, 2020. The bank is building three more Rural Self Employment Training Centres (Dausa in Rajasthan, Jagatsinghpur in Odisha and Ropar in Punjab) in addition to its existing 27 RSETIs across the country. The bank is also extending credit linkage to 10,000 Self Help Groups and opening two Urban Bank Mitra centres in Kolkata. It is coming with UCO Carnival campaign, an initiative for Retail and MSME borrowers. A Mega CASA campaign will also be launched to provide banking service to the unbanked areas. To keep up with today’s modern banking demands, it is launching IVR (Interactive Voice Response) based Phone Banking system and online account opening and virtual card issuance through UCO Pay+ (Bank’s Digital Wallet).

GMRIT ranks first in AICTE Clean & Smart Campus, 2019

Rajam based GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT) has been adjudged first amongst the clean and smart campus of India in the category of ‘AICTE National level Clean and Smart Campus Awards 2019  a campus first step towards sustainability’. The Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD) conferred this award to GMRIT during the award ceremony organised at AICTE headquarter, New Delhi. GMRIT won the race among 6000 other institutes.

Ripple Fragrances launches DNA- Deo on the Go

Ripple Fragrance, the fragrance division of the agarbathi to aerospace conglomerate NR Group launched a line of convenience deodorant, “DNA-Deo on the Go”. The latest deo spray canister is available in four exotic variants, Blue Suede, Glam & Glitz, Xtreme Sport and Diablo. The latest offering from the brand is also IFRA (International Fragrance Association) compliant. Speaking about the new product, Anik Banerjea, Chief Business Creator, Ripple Fragrances Pvt. Ltd. said, “With DNA-Deo on the go, we aim to offer easy affordable deo spray canisters in classic modern fragrances to our consumers.”
