Scoot to offer voucher refunds for flexible rebooking for customers

Scoot is offering voucher refunds for the full value of bookings made on or before 15 March 2020, for
travel up to 31 May 2020, with immediate effect. The portal will be ready soon. Customers are
encouraged to only contact us regarding the voucher if their flight is departing in the next 72 hours. For
all bookings made between 15 March and 31 May 2020, Scoot will extend a one-time free date change.
Scoot will continue to assess the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on global air travel in the coming
weeks.

CEAT launches limited edition colourful Zoom RAD tyres

CEAT Ltd. launched limited edition Zoom RAD tubeless tyres in three sidewall colours (Blue, Orange, Blue
and Orange). The tyres are compatible with and available for sports bikes such as Yamaha FZ, Yamaha
Fazer, Suzuki Gixxer and Suzuki Intruder. Amit Tolani, Chief Marketing Officer, CEAT Ltd. said, “We drew

thyssenkrupp Elevator sets up its first central spare parts warehouse

thyssenkrupp Elevator has launched its first central spare parts warehouse in Pune, India with a total
surface area of 10,000 sq. ft. As a result, there will be a 10% saving per year in the number of trips made
by technicians to pick up components. The warehouse will further improve services for customers
operating in domestic and neighbouring country’s market. Manish Mehan, CEO, thyssenkrupp Elevator
(India) said, “The warehouse operations will later be integrated with ERP Warehouse Management
model for optimised inventory management and logistics processes. With this project, thyssenkrupp
aims to reduce the environmental impact and promote a more sustainable supply chain.”

Tata Motors inaugurates fifth Saarthi Aaram Kendra

Tata Motors in association with Pasco Motors launched Saarthi Aaram Kendra, at Madri, near Udaipur,
Rajasthan. This is the fifth Saarthi Aaram Kendra aiming to improve the mental and physical wellbeing
along with the working conditions of commercial vehicle drivers. Commenting on the occasion, Rajesh
Kaul, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, said, “After
receiving an overwhelming response from truck drivers at Saarthi Aaram Kendras across the country, we
are excited to open more such centres to improve the working conditions of the drivers. We are pleased

Adamas to keep online academics running amidst corona close-down

Adamas University in keeping with the government directive had instructed students to learn from
home from March 16 till March 31. A new learning management system, with all the notified online
study resources for each theme, will be available for the students (video, text, graphics, audio, links,
ppt.) within a week ahead. The newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Deependra K Jha
said, "We were expected to have ushered in a blended method of teaching-learning from the next
academic year, but Corona scare and our pro-active responses have brought this sooner than ever. We
are doing our best to turn our disadvantage into an advantage and creating a powerful Knowledge
Management System.
