It’s always an amazing experience to go for a trip just with your girl gang. But women are often worried about their safety when it comes to travelling. There are many places in India, which are preferred by women travellers.

Triund:Located in Himachal Pradesh, this place is quite close to Delhi and is completely safe for women travellers. It is around 30 minutes’ drive from Dharamshala, home of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. This small hill station in the Kangra district is known for its adventure sports and scenic beauty. It is highly preferred by trekkers. The view of the evening sky from Triund is a good enough reason to pitch a tent here for the night. The length of the trek makes it apt for a weekend. The nearest airport is Kangra Airport, situated 15 kilometres from Dharamshala. The nearest railway stations on the narrow-gauge Kangra Valley railway line are at Kangra and Nagrota (about 20 km south of Dharamshala).
