“He is not a full man who does not own a piece of land.” Mr. Nirmal Lunawat, who is the executive director of Forum Group of Companies was the guest of TuriyaTalks' season 5 episode 8 who discussed on the topic of "Real Estate Vs Global Pandemic Crisis.” Host Sandhya Sutodia, the Co-founder of Turiya Communications accompanied him in the session.
He started the discussion talking about his journey of life. He has been working with the Forum groups since 14 years, who are the Pioneer in the Real Estate field. They are the ones who came up with the concept of shopping mall cum multiplex culture. Technopolis, the first IT infrastructure, completed in 2006 and development projects with Green building concept were installed in them.
Mr. Nirmal talked about how much the Real Estate industry has been affected due to the pandemic. He said, “Digital Marketing has been a good and efficient tool for the developers to market their projects.” He further added that “Pandemic has actually created a need in its own way, where people are demanding for land and building and thus surviving against this turmoil”.
“In 2017, with the coming of Demonetization and GST, Real Estate industry faced a huge loss in terms of prices and volume. Gold and Real Estate industry is considered to be the safest investment on earth”, he added.
At last he concluded by saying, “We understand the art and science of malls and thus it is not going to end soon”.
