Vikash Sharma has assumed office as the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vedanta Group controlled Bharat Aluminum Company Ltd. He is expected to steer the company and focus on future growth and ensure continuous development.
Sharma was well-received and warmly welcomed by senior BALCO officials. The Head of Human Resource for the company, Major Kumud Kumar, Aluminum Business Head Deepak Prasad, Energy Head G. Venkat Reddy and other senior officials welcomed him. During his speech, Sharma stated, “We should put security, solidarity, and integrity among our priorities and walk side by side to contribute for progress.”
Sharma said that with a cooperative mentality, mutual harmony and goodwill, Balco can set new records in the fields of production, productivity, quality, customer satisfaction and such others.
He has a vast experience of more than 28 years in multinational companies. He has rendered his services to HMT, Pfraxyer JSW and AMP in key posts. His contribution to the Vedanta group has been exemplary. He had taken charge as location head in Hindustan Zinc Ltd and was promoted to Chief Operation Officer for his remarkable contribution.
