Recently, FICCI FLO, Kolkata chapter organised an event with Brahmakumari Sister Shivani and to mark a remarkable ending to the year 2017. The event was held at Kalamandir, Kolkata on December 16, and the topic of the evening was ‘Create your Destiny.’

Sister Shivani enriched the guests with her simple yet fruitful talks and made them understand that destiny is not about the situations which come to us or the way people behave. Destiny is about how we think and behave even with those who wrong us. Destiny is not chance, it's one’s choice.

Sister Shivani said, “If anyone does any wrong to us, we should give blessings to that person and should not think anything bad about the person. We can change our thinking process and think of only blessings and good wishes for the other person. We can change our karmic account by the way we behave with the other person.” Sister Shivani also urged us to be happy from within. The happiness, peace and satisfaction that we ask for is all there within us.

As we have already heard the adage, ‘Jo karega woh paega’, it is this karmic account that we have to deal with. Relationship is on the quality of energy that we exchange with each other. Destiny is our choice. A blessing is only a thought. Our karma writes our destiny.

Sunita Kanoria, Chairperson FICCI FLO, Kolkata said at the event, “All the sukh and dukh of the Universe is within us. Our karmas lead us to our destiny. Having a spiritual dimension to our lives can make us happier. Spiritual wisdom doesn’t need to involve mind and mysticism. Living happily depends upon our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and desires. The simple guidance given by Sister Shivani is to control, Alt and delete. Control your state of mind, create an alternative way of thinking and delete emotional baggage of past memories, hurt or failures. When knowledge of God decends on to you, you no longer curse your blessings.”
