Pairing
16:11 pm

Partha Sarathi Sarkar

I know the moment you read this heading; you will smile and think the article to be some childish musing. But after investing two minutes of your precious time to read it, you will realise its importance.

So now let us start with a simple question and that is what is pairing? If we ask this question to a science student he may say, when an electronic device is linked with another device through some specific technology to perform a job together, it's called pairing. When you ask this question to a person who is involved in a managerial job he may say, pairing is the mental glue which will help a team to work together to achieve a set target. When you ask this question to a person who is spiritually enlightened then he may say, pairing is the ultimate inner connection with that supreme power that has created this beautiful world for us.

But if I told you that pairing is the superior form of loyalty then. It will sound a bit confusing, right. Now just look at your shoes and answer a simple question that can you wear two different types of shoes together. The answer is a big no. This is what I feel about true pairing and we should learn this from our shoes to develop a better environment for all of us to live. As a good pair of shoes means light weight with ultimate comfort and look, in the same way a good paired relation means both are doing their part without any sense of burden and that is how we can make a comfortable and healthy society for us to live in.

So if we practise this with our family and also with others, then we can easily do away with a lot of problems from our society. So just make a simple promise to yourself that now onwards whenever your greed or ego force you to do something unethical, you will first look at your shoes and then take the decision. Always remember that our future is just reflection of our present actions and so for a better tomorrow, we need to be a better person today. I know this is not going to be easy but remember that to get respect you have to give respect and that's how we can achieve a society that we all will desire to live in.

May God bless you all.
