Shree Vishudhanand Saraswati Marwari Hospital opens a new unit

Shree Vishudhanand Saraswati Marwari Hospital recently inaugurated a high dependency unit. It was created with the intention of allocating patients in post-intensive therapy period. The facility has been funded by the Bajoria family in memory of Late Ramji Dasji Bajoria who had a huge role in building this hospital. He contributed towards the hospital through hard work, donated his own wealth and also generated fund for the hospital.

The unit was inaugurated by Harishankarji Bajoria in the presence of eminent industrialist Dr. Hari Prasad Kanoria, who was also the chief guest of this event.  Industrialists Tolaram Jalan and Dinesh Kumar Seksaria were also present in the event.

Shree Vishudhanand Saraswati Marwari Hospital, Kolkata has been serving patients since its inception in 1919 and aims at establishing a modern and sophisticated medical care centre. It is devoted to offer medical aid to economically disenfranchised sections. The hospital already holds four operation theatres, 10 Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) units, 25 male surgical wards, 25 female surgical wards and 21 maternity wards. It also facilitates orthopaedic surgery, computed pathology services, round the clock ambulance services, pharmacy and the other diagnostic services.
