Allahabad Bank launches Co-Branded Credit Card with SBI Card

Allahabad Bank and SBI Card launched Allahabad Bank-SBI Co-Branded Credit Card at a simple function organised at the Head Office of Allahabad Bank. Ch S S Mallikarjuna Rao MD and CEO of Allahabad Bank while addressing reiterated the Bank’s commitment to complete the bouquet of digital offerings to the customers of the Bank. The dignitaries, K. Ramachandran and P R Rajagopal Executive Directors of Allahabad Bank and MD and CEO of SBI Card, Hardayal Prasad in presence of Ch S S Mallikarjuna Rao unveiled the three variants of the co-branded credit card namely SIMPLY SAVE, PRIME and ELITE.

Vivek Gupta assumes charge as SAIL’s Director, Raw Material and Logistics

Vivek Gupta has taken charge as Director of Raw Material and Logistics of Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) on March 27, 2019. With an experience of working for more than 38 years in SAIL, he has served in IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), Chasnalla Colliery, Project Directorate, VISL and Raw Materials Division as well as in NMDC where he was on deputation. After joining SAIL - ISP, he rose to the ranks of Executive Director and served as ED (Projects) at Corporate Office, ED-VISL and then as ED (Projects and Operations) of Raw Materials Division, SAIL and has been involved in several important and large scale projects including the projects of ISP’s Modernization and Expansion programme.

Narayana Superspeciality Hospital organised session on Women’s Health

Apollo brings TARE, treatment for liver cancer                                             

Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals brings TARE (Trans Arterial Radio Embolisation), the latest treatment for liver cancers for the first time in Kolkata. TARE is a procedure, where using special instruments and micro-catheters, the identified source of blood supply to the tumour in liver is accessed and intra-arterial radiotherapy is delivered using Yttrium-90 (Radiotherapy agent).
