Fortune Soya Badi promotes - Zabardast Protein Shakti with Sourav Ganguly

Adani Wilmar Ltd., which makes a range of food products under the brand name Fortune, has unveiled a new TV Commercial (TVC) of Fortune Soya Badi - featuring former Indian cricket team captain and BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly. Ajay Motwani, Head - Marketing, Adani Wilmar said, “Sourav epitomises health, fitness, a progressive spirit, and is a symbol of change. The new TVC reflects popular, progressive culture. With women taking to sports in a big way, our protagonist is a budding female cricketer.” The TVC shows the former cricketer encouraging the young budding cricketer to practice more to become better - while nutrition and strength can be looked after by Fortune Soya Badi. Soya Nuggets contain 15X higher protein than milk and are 99% fat-free. Adani Wilmar makes and markets a whole range of food products, including edible oil, rice, atta, sugar, besan, ready-to-cook Khichdi, etc. under the brand. It also stresses the advantages of packaged vs. loose Soya Badi as Fortune Soya Badi is untouched by hand, hence extremely safe.

Indian Bank released financials for Q1 FY21

Total income for Q1 FY21 of the Indian Bank grew by 8% to `11447 crore from `10580 crore in Q1 FY20. Net interest income grew by 17 % to `3874 crore.  Operating Profit grew by 23 % to `2753 crore for the Q1 FY21. Net Profit stood at `369 crore as against `492 crore for the combined entity in Q1 FY20.  Other income increased by 19% to `1327 crore in Q1 FY20.  Global business of the bank increased by 7% to `855895 crore. Commenting on the results, Padmaja Chunduru MD & CEO, Indian Bank said, “This is a very satisfying performance in the first quarter post amalgamation.The key parameters of income, cost efficiency and profitability have improved both Y-o-Y and Q–o-Q. The Bank has made upfront provisions in 2 accounts and also contingency provisions for COVID-19.”

Webinar on corporate CSR funds utilisation post Covid 19

The West Bengal Sustainable Businesses Council of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) in active collaboration with the Sustainable Advancements (OPC) and Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) - conducted their debut webinar programme on ‘Corporate CSR Funds Utilisation Post Covid 19’ on August 22, 2020. IRB Infra bags Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway project

Highway infrastructure development major IRB Infra has been awarded the contract of building the 27.5 km Gandeva-Ena section of the Vadodra-Mumbai Expressway. The project is worth `1,775 crore while the total cost of the 380 km greenfield Vadodra-Mumbai Expressway is pegged at `44,000 crore. Virendra D. Mhaiskar, Chairman & Managing Director, IRB Infrastructure, said that they are happy to receive the LoA. He added, “It is a testimony to IRB's capabilities, domain expertise, and strict financial discipline demonstrated over the last two decades in developing world-class highways infrastructure across the nation.”
