Federal Bank Expands Collaboration with Oracle and Infosys

Federal Bank announced an expanded strategic collaboration with Oracle and Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, to provide an enhanced customer experience through Oracle CX (Customer Experience) platform. “Our mantra is ‘Digital at the fore, human at the core’ and the implementation of the next generation CRM solution, in partnership with Oracle and Infosys is a significant step we are taking in that direction,” said Shalini Warrier, Executive Director and Business Head – Retail, Federal Bank. 

Nilon’s adds fizz to beverage category with ‘CHEERS!’

Nilon’s expanded its product portfolio by entering the beverages category with ‘CHEERS!’. The company has launched six refreshing sparkling fruit flavours including Cheers Kokum, Cheers Amla, Cheers Green Lemon, Cheers Lemon and Ginger, Cheers Jeera, Cheers Apple. The product contains 17-18% natural wonder fruit, way more than the industry/category standards. Rajheev Agarwal, Director and CEO, Nilon’s commented, “It will stand out as a healthier alternative to synthetic fizzy drinks available in the market.” 

ITC launched Vivel Neem Oil and Aloe Vera Body Wash

ITC recently launched Vivel Neem Oil and Aloe Vera Body Wash with natural goodness. The combination of the two can help with a myriad of skin issues that concern us during these months like clearing the skin and unclogging pores, an anti-pollutant, rejuvenating and hydrating. The product is available at `40 for 100ml and `80 for 200ml. This body wash is suitable for women and men, a bathing experience different from soap. 

Square Yards announced the launch of ‘Interior Company’

Square Yards has launched a new platform offering Home furnishing and home interior services. The subsidiary called “Interior Company” has already setup offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi-NCR and is looking to scale operations pan India and Middle East. Tanuj Shori, Founder and CEO of Square Yards said, “Within just two months of the beta launch, it is clocking over $0.5mn of monthly revenue run rate.” They are building an integrated tech platform for 3D visualisation of spaces with immersive VR experience, allowing customers to have the ‘What you see is What you get’ assurance. 

 

Morphisec Appoints Ajit Pillai as Regional Director for APAC region

 

Morphisec announced it has appointed Ajit Pillai as Regional Director for APAC. Pillai is a versatile IT business leader with over two decades of experience driving sales and marketing initiatives across the IT and cybersecurity sectors. Prior to joining Morphisec, he served as Vice President Sales, India/SAARC, for Silicon Valley headquartered Seclore Technologies. Microfinance Industry pursuing community development initiatives

 

Microfinance industry, comprising NBFC-MFIs, NBFCs, Banks, Small Finance Banks and Banking Correspondent - addressed the needs of different sections of the society including customers, the government officials, frontline workers and migrant workers. 35 organisations contributed `3.39 crore to the ‘PM Cares Fund’ through the joint efforts of over 54,034 employees. ESAF Small Finance Bank introduced a new initiative ‘Bandhu Clinic’ along with National Health Mission and Centre for Migration and Inclusive Development. It was the collective efforts of the sector that resulted in Covid awareness and relief materials.

Former Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin joins as Dean of Kautilya School of Public Policy

Setting the academic bar high and tending to public policy, ex-Indian Foreign Service diplomat, former Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin, has joined as the Dean of Kautilya School of Public Policy, Hyderabad on June 1, 2021.  Akbaruddin said, “Looking forward to be part of an environment that will enable students understand the processes better, programs and politics of public policies in a globalized world”. “His in-depth knowledge of international issues and his spectacular stint as the spokesperson of India’s Ministry of External Affairs is inspiring to the youth of today”, said Sridhar Pabbisetty, Founding Director of the institute.

ITC Aashirvaad Atta with Multigrains' Survey

Aashirvaad Atta commissioned ‘A Survey on Digestive Health’ of Indian families, ahead of World Digestive Health Day on May 29, 2021. Momspresso conducted the study for the brand by surveying 538 mothers. The findings suggest that 77% Indian mothers consider digestive health to be extremely important while 56% mothers think their families suffer from digestive health issues.
