Narayana Superspeciality Hospital introduces NH Bandhu

Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah recently introduced ‘NH Bandhu’, the First Free Palliative Home Care Programme in Eastern India. Dr. Suman Mallik, Medical Director, NH Howrah said, “According to a recent survey, one million new cases of cancer occur every year in India with over 80% cases at stage III and IV which creates immense necessity for the need of palliative care in India. Mitsubishi, Metal One and Isuzu Motors contribute to the National Road Safety initiative

JSW Steel post 17% higher EBIDTA

JSW Steel Limited recently reported its results for the third quarter. The company’s stand-alone performance of crude steel production was 4.23 million tonnes, up by 3% YoY, saleable steel sales was 3.68 million tonnes, down by 7% YoY, revenue from operations was Rs. 18,393 crore, up by 9% YoY, operating EBITDA was Rs. 4,438 crore, up by 24% YoY and PAT stood at Rs. 1,892 crore, up by 68% YoY. The flagship company of the diversified US$ 13 billion JSW group.

Amway celebrates Louis Braille Day with Rama Krishna Mission Blind Boy’s Academy

Amway India marked the 210th birth anniversary of Louis Braille this month. Amway collaborated with its 11 NGO partners for the eleventh consecutive year to conduct activities ranging from braille reading and writing competitions, blind challenge car rally and cultural events with visually impaired across regions. In Kolkata, Amway organised intra academy quiz competition with the students of Ram Krishna Mission Blind Boy’s Academy. Students from National Law School conducted the quiz programme. A braille reading competition was also organised amongst the visually impaired students of the Academy wherein 24 students participated.
