Q. What healthcare services are offered by Suasth?

A. Suasth Health Care is a tertiary healthcare facility, which will provide all services with major focus areas being intensive care, organ transplant, trauma services, Orthopaedic surgeries, neurology and neurosurgeries, cardiology and cancer care facilities. Apart from these, we will also provide facilities for mother and child health, infertility clinic, plastic and cosmetic surgery, gastroenterology, diabetes, ENT, dentistry, urology, nephrology, dialysis, diabetology, and state-of-the-art physiotherapy unit with hydrotherapy.

Q. How is the private healthcare market in India? Where do you place Suasth?

A. The Indian healthcare market is growing at a fast rate and that is being aided by various factors which include changing role of the government, emerging middle class and rising healthcare consumption, private insurance penetration, medical value travel advantage and increasing incidence of lifestyle diseases. Suasth is one of the premium healthcare facilities located in the heart of Navi Mumbai with an added advantage of proximity to the Mumbai Pune Expressway and the Navi Mumbai International Airport. This hospital is easily accessible and affordable to the people of Navi-Mumbai and Raigad.

Q. How has been your experience with the Suasth Hospital in Navi Mumbai? How are you ensuring quality healthcare at affordable prices?

A. The last few months have been exciting for me. The whole concept of hospital designing and workflow has been redefined for the patients’ convenience at our hospital. The hospital is a 400 bed facility spread over five lakh square feet of built-up area, providing almost 1300 square feet area for each patient. Despite these grand interiors, we plan to give quality healthcare at affordable rates to all our patients.

Q. Is there any foreign collaboration to enhance the services offered at the Suasth Hospital?

A. We have involved multiple international organisations like Christie NHS Foundation Trust for oncology, LTS Health Consulting for pathology and microbiology, Pathway Consulting for genetics and Mazzetti MEP Engineering for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) services. At Suasth Hospital, we plan to collaborate operationally with many such international partners, who are leaders in their fields in order to ensure best practices’ sharing and for the overall safety of our patients.

Q. Is your organisation working on de-addiction services?

A. Yes, our organisation is working on de-addiction services in Mumbai through its collaboration with 'One Step' from Ireland offering specialised and modern methods of managing and delivering de-addiction services.
