Work with devotion in consciousness of Lord Krishna
14:40 pm

Dr. H. P. Kanoria

Arjun to Lord Krishna - Should he renounce work or work with devotion?

Krishna - Work with devotion than that of renunciation of work in consciousness of Lord Krishna and in the knowledge that everything in existence belongs to Lord Krishna. Work for the welfare of Krishna's creation. Do not desire the fruits of activities. Free from the bondage of duality, one is liberated even doing activities in the material world. All actions must be done in the service of Krishna i.e. humanity. Engage in activities in Krishna's consciousness than to be a Sanayasi - monk. With control of mind and senses work with devotion in consciousness of Soul and Krishna. He lives in consciousness of Krishna's love. He works for all.  His mind gets controlled as he is engaged in activities for Krishna and His creation. His senses are controlled as he is in consciousness of Krishna. Know and realise that one is not doing anything at all. One is aloof of all activities. One is doing as desired by Krishna. One is engaged in the loving transcendental service of Krishna. Krishna's conscious person is always free even though he appears to be engaged in any affairs of senses. Perform duties without attachment and in expectation of results and surrendering that to Lord Krishna. Work with devotion, but be free from ego and be with consciousness of Krishna in all activities. Be in union with Krishna. Krishna is the Supreme Absolute Truth. There is no duality. While engaging in work, mentally renounce the results and remember Krishna.
